Using the memory function
(M1 - M5):
WinCalc PRO has five memories, numbered M1
through M5. There are three ways to use the memory function:
1. Keyboard shortcut:
Press [M] +
[no. of memory] to store a subtotal in the assigned memory.
Press [R] + [no. of
memory] to load a stored value from the assigned memory and place it into the
input area.
2. TAB key:
Saving:
Choose the memory by using the TAB key and enter the value which should be
stored. Press [Enter] to finalize the input.
Loading: To load a value from the memory, choose the
memory by using the TAB key and press [Enter] to copy the value to the input
area. Press the [Right Arrow Key] to exit the memory area without loading the
saved value. Use the backspace key to clear the memory. If you want to save a
new value, just overwrite the old entry.
3. Mouse:
By
double-clicking in the input- or subtotal area, the displayed number will be
stored in the next empty memory. The stored number can be recalled by
double-clicking in the memory area.
Please note: If you want to
temporarily suppress the confirmation after saving a value, just press [M] +
[F3].
Saving the memory contents:
After
closing down WinCalc PRO, the contents of the memories get lost. Press the
"Quicksave" key in the main screen to save the entries
permanently.
Please note: The tax rate which is used by the sales
tax fuction has to be stored in the memory M1.
